It's MARCH MADNESS AT CARAVEL! This month not only are Caravel students working to collect the most pages read, but we are celebrating many young adult texts through our March Madness Book Brackets. Who will be the student choice bracket winner for Grade 5/6 and Grade 7/8? We will have to wait until the end of the month to find out. Be sure to ask your students about the weekly book talks they get to hear from many Caravel teachers and RSU 87 staff members. Here at Caravel, we continue to work to foster a love and culture of reading for our students and our teachers. We would love for you to join us on our reading journey. Drop your favorite book for young adults in the comments, post a picture of you reading, or post a message of encouragement for our middle school readers. Here at Caravel we truly believe, as author Jame Patterson says, "There's no such thing as a kid who hates reading. There are kids who love reading, and kids who are reading the wrong books.”
